Put ご before the verbal noun that leads to the other person’s action.

使用 means using
方法 means way, method, or procedure

ご使用いただく前に内容物をお確かめください。

This particle is a little weird, this should be に instead of を If you want to use を here, you should remove お好みの.

This is a weird sentence. I can understand the meaning though. It looks like a beginner in Japanese did his best to write it. Is that how my English is too?

The correct sentence is…

Note: For devices larger than 7″, the horizontal placement is recommended.
